Heather has been in the healthcare industry for over 10 years. She initially started as a Licensed Practical Nurse and continued her education to obtain her Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She is currently working towards her Masters of Science in Nursing in order to acquire more specialized skills in a profession that she loves and admires.
Heather came to Quail Park with a variety of healthcare experience. she’s been a long term care and skilled nursing house supervisor/charge nurse, Assistant Chief Nursing officer and a Pre-Operative and Recovery Clinical Coordinator. She’s worked on a Medical/Surgical Unit, Orthopaedics/spine Post-Surgical Unit, in Bariatrics and worked on a step down Intensive Care Unit. Overall, her experiences have taught her many valuable problem-solving and leadership skills that have made her the nurse that she is today. She takes pride in her interpersonal skills and enjoys interacting with residents and their family members.” Building a relationship of mutual trust with residents is something that I will never lack in. I am here for the residents and I will always treat you as if you are my own family member.”
Heather was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. She loves the mountains and all of the beauty there. To say the least, Colorado has a special place in her heart. She moved to Arizona 12 years ago. She has three children- and loves to stay busy with them as they are very athletic and enjoy many activities. She is also a resident of Morrison Ranch, and “I love this place! I take pride in our community and I truly feel blessed to live in such a wonderful neighborhood. I am excited to be a part of Quail Park and the Living Care team. I look forward to welcoming you to your new home!”
